In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

A large medal constructed of gilded bronze and multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a hexagonal award with a central white enameled hexagonal medallion bearing writing in Arabic, with a semi-circular shape bearing green enameled and gilt outward-pointing lines in the background, suspended from a polished medallion bearing a Emblem of Sudan from its period original sewn-on ribbon, measuring 96.3 mm (w) x 96.2 mm (l), weighing 165.11 grams.
Accompanied by its matching presentation case, constructed of a lightweight wooden core, with a lightly textured green faux leather exterior, the exterior of the lid embossed “Order of Civil Accomplishment” in gilt capitalized lettering, the inside of the lid lined with white padded silk, embossed with the maker mark of “Spink & Son” of London in black ink, with dual exterior metal hinges, intact interior fabric hinge cover, and dual exterior metal clasp closures, measuring 165 mm (w) x 265 mm (l).
An extremely well preserved and uncommonly encountered award, with only light patina in the form of age spots on the award, in near mint condition.
Footnote: The Order of Civil Accomplishment was instituted in 1974 and was awarded to those in government offices, public organizations, and corporations to recognize achievement in the civil service and public sector. It is issued in two sizes - a large breast badge for display and a smaller breast badge for wear. This is an example of the former.
