eMedals history

From Hamilton, Ontario, William obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Modern European History from Brock University, before pursuing a master’s degree in Political Science. William joined eMedals Inc. in 2018 as a researcher and writer with a focus on Third Reich and Imperial European materials.

With an extensive educational background in 19th Century British History as well as Law, Laurence manages in depth biographical and archival research pertaining to British & Commonwealth medal groupings. His particular fields of interest and study are Napoleonic Campaigns in addition to British North American conflicts.

Chiara is a recent graduate from the Warburg Institute in London, where she completed her master’s degree in Art History, Curatorship, and Renaissance Culture. As an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, she completed her degree with a double major in History and Renaissance Studies with a minor in Italian. She has years of experience as an academic researcher, most recently as an Intern at the Medici Archive Project in Florence. Though her academic interests lie in the early modern period, she is excited to work as a researcher and writer at eMedals with a focus on modern and global history.

Lukas was born in Vienna, Austria, and emigrated to Canada in 2008. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Honours History degree specializing in German history from Unification in 1871 to the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Lukas joined eMedals as a researcher and writer with a focus on Third Reich and Imperial German medals and awards. He also enjoys representing eMedals at shows and exhibitions around the globe, meeting collectors, and connecting them to the highest quality militaria.
