A lot of five Japanese imperial medals and awards, consisting of:
1. A Cased 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal. Instituted March 31st, 1906. A circular medal constructed of bronze, suspended from a single-toe horizontal medal bar from a period-original ribbon featuring a hook-and-loop closure on the reverse, unmarked, measuring 30.4 mm in diameter, weighing 28.80 grams inclusive of its ribbon, accompanied by its presentation case, constructed of thick pressed paper with a black faux leather exterior, measuring 58 mm (w) x 108 mm (l).
2. A Cased 2600th National Anniversary Commemorative Medal. Instituted July 27th, 1940. A circular medal constructed of bronze, suspended from a period-original ribbon featuring a hook-and-loop closure on the reverse, unmarked, measuring 30.4 mm, weighing 15.21 grams inclusive of its ribbon, accompanied by its presentation case, constructed of thick pressed paper with a black faux leather exterior, measuring 59 mm (w) x 110 mm (l).
3. A Cased Showa Enthronement Commemorative Medal. Instituted on August 1st, 1928. A circular medal constructed of silver, suspended from a period-original ribbon featuring a hook-and-loop closure on the reverse, unmarked, measuring 30.4 mm in diameter, weighing 16.03 grams inclusive of its ribbon, accompanied by its presentation case, constructed of thick pressed paper with a black faux leather exterior, measuring 59 mm (w) x 104 mm (l).
4. A cased Order of the Sacred Treasure, VII. Class. Instituted January 4th, 1888. An eight-pointed star constructed of silver with arms of two varying lengths, suspended from a period-original ribbon featuring a hook-and-loop closure on the reverse, unmarked, measuring 36.9 mm (w) x 40.5 mm (l). Accompanied by its rosette and its presentation case, constructed of black bakelite with an intact interior hinge cover and functional clasp closure, measuring 57 mm (w) x 92 mm (l).
5. A cased Red Cross Order of Merit. Instituted June 21st, 1888. A Savoy Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion decorated with a silver applique, the reverse with a similar central blue enameled medallion with script in Japanese, suspended from a pierced ball suspension and swivel ring from its period-original ribbon featuring a hook-and-loop closure on the reverse, unmarked, measuring 46.3 mm (w) x 51.2 mm (l). Accompanied by its rosette and its presentation case, constructed of a magnetic metal core with a black lightly textured faux leather exterior, with a functional exterior metal hinge and fine purple-coloured silk interior, measuring 78 mm (w) x 98 mm (l).
A fine grouping of five Japanese awards in their presentation cases with condition ranging from better than fine to better than extremely fine.
