(Heer Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of award documents and paperwork to Hans Schütz, last-known rank Unteroffizier, consisting of:
1. An award document for an Infantry Assault Badge, constructed of off-whit paper stock with multi-coloured ink, named to Schütz as a Gefreiter of 1 Kompanie, Infanterie-Regiment 481, issued at St-Malo (France) on 1 September 1940, featuring the handwritten signature of then-Oberstleutnant Friedrich Weber (later-Generalleutnant and recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 8 June 1940), measuring 208 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), with folding creases visible, in near extremely fine condition.
2. An award document for a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Schütz as an Obergefreiter of 1. Kompanie, Infanterie-Regiment 481, issued at headquarters on 1 November 1941 and featuring the handwritten signature of Generalleutnant Gerhard Kauffmann (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 9 July 1941), measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with folding creases evident, in near extremely fine condition.
3. An award document for an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Schütz as an Unteroffizier, issued on 24 July 1942 and featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Major and battalion commander, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
4. An award document for a Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of off-white paper with multi-coloured ink, named to Schütz as an Unteroffizier of 2. Kompanie, Grenadier-Regiment 981, issued at Erlangen on 27 September 1944 for three wounds suffered between 13 June 1940 and 21 July 1944, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm 9h), with minor creasing and soiling evident, in near extremely fine condition.
5. A three-page service record for 256 Infanterie-Division constructed of off-white paper with black ink, measuring 210 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
