Description

(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia issued to Heer and Waffen-SS personnel, including:

1. A Heer Gebirgsjäger Enlisted personnel sleeve insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition.

2. A 21st Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Skanderbeg sleeve insignia, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered red shield overlaid by a black double-headed Albanian national eagle, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x65 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Heer Leutnant/Waffen-SS Untersturmführer camouflage rank insignia, constructed of a green rayon base with black dye, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
