A Honour Medal for Forty Years of Faithful Service, Military Division, in bronze gilt, bearing Franz Joseph on the obverse, the reverse with the inscription PERACTI SIGNVM LABORIS FIDELITER XXXX ANNORVM, worn on yellow and black trifold ribbon denoting military division, measures 34.1 mm in diameter, heavy gilt loss, in fine condition.
