(Медал за ветераните от испанската гражданска война 1936-1939). Instituted in 1974. In brass, measuring 35 mm in diameter, edge nicks, contact marks and surface wear on the bust of Georgi Dimitrov on the obverse, on an incorrect Soviet ribbon, mounted to a five-sided aluminum suspension with pinback, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Medal for Veterans of the Spanish Civil War was instituted on May 28, 1974 and awarded to Bulgarian and foreign citizens who participated in the struggle with the International Brigades with Spain’s Republican Army against Franco’s Nationalists.
