Croatia, Independent State. A Lot of Six Photographs of Croatian Troops, c. 1941-45

A lot of six black-and-white photographs of Croatian Troops, consisting of:

1. A photograph depicting a young man in uniform posing for a picture with his left hand on his leather belt, the reverse in standard postcard format, unmarked, measuring 89 mm (w) x 139 mm (l).

2. A photograph depicting two young boys, one in an HJ outfit, and the other with a checkered Croatian insignia on the sleeve of his left arm, the reverse in standard postcard format, dated “1942”, with remains of previous album mounting on the reverse, measuring 85 mm (w) x 135 mm (l).

3. A photograph depicting a high ranking officer of the Wehrmacht posing for a picture in a field of greenery, clearly visible is the checkered Croatian insignia on his right sleeve, a ribbon for an Iron Cross 1939 Second Class with a Clasp, the reverse in standard postcard format, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 139 mm (l).

4. A photograph depicting five Wehrmacht personnel posing for a picture with two Croatian women in the arms of two of the soldiers, the reverse in standard postcard format, the front labeled “Croatia” in German, measuring 86 mm (w) x 137 mm (l).

5. A photograph depicting three uniformed young men with their police insignia clearly visible, the reverse in standard postcard format, unmarked, measuring 87 mm (w) x 137 mm (l).

6. A photograph depicting a member of the TeNo posing with his wife, the photograph is slightly blurred, the reverse in standard postcard format, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 134 mm (l).

All photographs free of stains, creases or rips, in overall very fine to better than very fine condition.
