A lot of four military and civilian medals and awards, consisting of:
1. An Order of Academic Palms, Instituted March 17th, 1808, II. Model - Type III (1866-1955). Constructed of silver, suspended from its period original ribbon, measuring 26.8 mm (w) x 39.3 mm (l).
2. A Military Medal, Instituted January 22nd, 1852, Model of the Third Republic - Type III, constructed of silver, gilded bronze, and blue enamels, suspended from a swivel ring and its period original ribbon, measuring 27.2 mm (w) x 30.7 mm (l).
3. A St. Helen Medal, Instituted August 12th, 1857, constructed of bronze, on a swivel ring for suspension from its correct replacement ribbon, measuring 31.3 mm (w) x 50.9 mm (l).
4. A Combattants Cross, Instituted on June 28th, 1930, constructed of bronze, on a swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, measuring 35.9 mm (w) x 40.6 mm (l).
A fine lot of French medals and awards, in overall better than fine condition.
