Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Black Grade, Screw-Back Version, (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Oval shaped blackened zink; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse with a screw-back assembly; unmarked; measuring 28.60 mm (w) x 43.60 mm (h); weighing 8.2 grams; in overall extremely fine condition.
An Army Wound Badge in Black Document, on cream coloured paper, to Günther Blechschmidt of the Jager Regiment Nr. 7. The document is stamped and signed. Presenting three folding creases, minimal creasing and scuffing. Measuring 166 mm (w) x 106 mm (h), very fine.
