Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Black Grade (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.29 mm (w) x 42.52 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
An Army Wound Badge in Black Document, on cream coloured paper, to Heinrich Weingarten. The document is dated 19 January 1920, stamped and signed. Presenting two folding creases, slight creasing, discolouration and scuffing. Measuring 213 mm (w) x 168 mm (h), very fine.
