1. A Heer EM/NCO’s Reichswehr-pattern buckle, constructed of nickel silver, the obverse bearing a central raised Reichswehr-style German national eagle, situated within a ribbed ring bearing a raised inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), a quintessential example of a buckle bridging the transition from the Reichswehr to Wehrmacht in extremely fine condition.
2. A Heer Officer’s buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and buckle retaining attachment class, unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated within an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, the former retaining a brown leather strap, both the buckle and strap maker marked with the logos of J. Deutschbein, Euskirchen (the latter also bearing a manufacture date of “1937”, the strap notably stamped with a unit dedication of “FL. ERS. ABT. 25” for Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung 25, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
