For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Heer Verleihungsurkunden). A lot of three award documents to Franz Seifert, 7. Kompanie, Panzergrenadier-Regiment 28, 8. Panzer-Division, including:
One for a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, issued in Nordhausen on 17 April 1942 for a single wound suffered on 15 July 1941, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with moderate soiling and material fatigue evident, in addition to a folding crease, in overall very fine condition.
One for a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, issued on the Eastern Front on 30 July 1944, featuring a handwritten signature of Generalmajor Gottfried Frölich (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 30 December 1943), measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with minor soiling and a folding crease evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
One for a Gold Grade Wound badge, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, issued in Heilbronn on 15 August 1944 for four wounds suffered between 15 July 1941 and 14 July 1944, with moderate material fatigue and a folding crease evident, in overall very fine condition.
Footnote: Deployed to the Eastern Front as part of Army Group North, Seifert’s initial injury can be approximated to fighting in the Shimsk region as the 8th Panzer Division advanced on Leningrad. Upon Seifert’s receipt of the Iron Cross II Class and Gold Grade Wound Badge, the division was firmly on the defensive, having been pushed back to western Ukraine by the advancing Red Army after failing to relieve German forces in the besieged city of Brody.
