A grouping of three Third Reich German military service awards with award documents, consisting of:
1. An Iron Cross 1939 Second Class. (Eisernes Kreuz 1939 II. Klasse) Reinstituted September 1st, 1939. (1939-1945 issue). Constructed of iron and silver on a fixed loop and ring for suspension, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the ring marked “138”, accompanied by a period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 43.6 mm (w) x 43.7 mm (l), weighing 18.93 grams, the core of the cross is loose within the frame with wear to the black finish, in near very fine condition.
Accompanied by an award document for an Iron Cross 1939 Second Class to Obergefreiter Andreas Wolfsfellner of the 1. Infantry Regiment 282, awarded on October 2nd, 1941, signed by an unknown Generalleutnant and bearing an official Feldpost stamp, measuring 140 mm (w) x 198 mm (l), previously folded in half with nips to the bottom edge of the page, in near very fine condition.
2. A Silver Grade Infantry Assault Badge. (Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a slightly vaulted oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped sheet metal hinge, vertical pinback, and crimped round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 47.7 mm (w) x 62.3 mm (l), weighing 24.29 grams, with approximately half of its original silver finish intact, in very fine condition.
Accompanied by an award document for an Infantry Assault Badge in Silver to Andreas Wolfsfellner of the 1. Infantry Regiment 282, awarded on December 15th, 1941, signed by an unknown Oberst, and bearing the official seal of the Infantry Regiment 282 in pinkish-red ink, measuring 148 mm (w) x 208 mm (l), previously folded in half with nips on the left side of the page, in near very fine condition.
3. A Black Grade Wound Badge. (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Instituted on March 3rd 1918. Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, round wire catch, and vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 37.3 mm (w) x 44.3 mm (l), weighing 9.83 grams, in extremely fine condition.
An award document for a Black Grade Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz) to Obergefreiter Andreas Wolfsfellner of the 4. Panzer Grenadier Regiment 40 for the injury sustained on August 25th 1942. It is signed by the unknown Hauptmann of the regiment in black fountain pen, bearing an official seal of his regiment, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (l), previously folded in half, in overall near extremely fine condition.
