(Wehrmacht Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of award documents, including:
1. One for a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, named to “LEUTNANT HANS VON WANGENHEIM”, issued at headquarters on 1 November 1939, certified by the handwritten signature of Generalmajor and II Fliegerkorps commander Bruno Loerzer (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 29 May 1940), measuring 14 cm (w) x 20 cm (h), perforated with two holes consistent with previous album storage, a desirable document for service in the invasion of Poland in extremely fine condition.
2. One for a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, issued to “OBERGEFREITEN HEINRICH KNOOP” issued in the field on 31 December 1941, certified by the handwritten signature of Generalleutnant and commander of the Luftwaffe mission to Romania Wilhelm Speidel, measuring 14.5 cm (w) x 21 cm (h), demonstrating moderate soiling, in near extremely fine condition.
3. One for Black Grade Wound Badge, named to “GRENADIER RUDOLF STANGE” of 2. Kompanie, Grenadier-Regiment 20, issued from Bad Köngswart on 1 September 1943 for a single wound suffered on 29 July of that years, certified by the signature of a Stabsarzt, measuring 14 cm (w) x 20 cm (h), demonstrating some creasing and soiling, in very fine condition.
4. One for a Demjansk Shield, named to “UNTEROFFIZIER HEINZ THRONE”, issued at headquarters on 31 December 1943, certified by the facsimile signature of a General der Infanterie and handwritten signature of an Oberleutnant, measuring 15 cm (w) x 21 cm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
5. One for a Kuban Shield, named to “OBERGEFREITEN JOHANN FAUL” of Stabskompanie, Grenadier-Regiment 213, issued at headquarters on 1 October 1944, certified by the facsimile signature of Generalfeldmarschall Ewald von Kleist, measuring 15 cm (w) x 20.5 cm (h), demonstrating some creasing and soiling, in near extremely fine condition.
