(Kaiser Wilhelm II Porzellanteller). Constructed of glazed white porcelain, the obverse consisting of a shallow bowl featuring central handpainted flowers executed in vibrant colour, with a gently scalloped ring fully trimmed along the exterior edge in gilt, in turn decorated with gilded floral designs interspersed with hand-painted flowers, the reverse maker marked with the classic orb logo of Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (Royal Porcelain Factory) of Berlin, correctly presented in red as indication of a porcelain item featuring a floral design, topped by the blue sceptre mark as used by the firm from 1870 until 1845, and flanked by the monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, measuring 25 cm in total diameter, a fine crack extends across approximately three-quarters of the diameter of the disc, with an additional small chip visible to the base lip, a striking example from one of the dinner services commissioned by the Kaiser in very fine condition.
