Germany, Heer. A Panzer Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade 11, Refurbished Example

(Heer Schützenschnur für Panzereinheiten, 11. Stufe). Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval tread wreath, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Panzer, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of multiple rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire, culminating at each end in gilded loops for uniform attachment, with one end retaining two gilded shell casings, unmarked, the insignia measuring 41.58 mm (w) x 56.97 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 45 cm in length, both the insignia and the wire demonstrating evidence of re-application of gilt finish, a refurbished example in very fine condition.
