(Auszeichnungen). A mixed lot of awards, including:
1. A 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from an original Third Reich-period tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 42.38 mm (w) x 48.03 mm (h), weighing 10.8 grams, demonstrating moderate surface oxidation throughout the core, in very fine condition.
2. A Bavarian Landwehr Long Service Award, II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 33.06 mm in diameter, weighing 16.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
3. A Bavarian Fire Brigade 25-Year Long Service Award, constructed of blackened non-magnetic alloy, unmarked, measuring 29.11 mm (w) x 40.03 mm (h), weighing 13.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
4. An Honour Decoration of the Bavarian Association for 40 Years of Service, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a blue and white checkered shield executed in enamel, flanked by Bavarian lions rampant clutching a cogwheel, situated above a mobile swastika flanked by oak leaves and topped by an inscription of “EHRE DER ARBEIT” (“HONOUR THE WORK”), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR 40 JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR 40 YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE”), circumscribed by an inscription of “DIE BAYERISCHE INDUSTRIE” (“THE BAVARIAN INDUSTRY”), the edge stamped with a silver content number of “990”, measuring 33.82 mm (w) x 49.57 mm (h), weighing 25.6 grams, demonstrating minor loss of gilt finish to high contact points, in extremely fine condition.
