(Auszeichnungen und Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of awards and documents to SS and civil recipients, including:
1. An Anschluss Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.40 mm in diameter, weighing 15.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by its original award document, named to Staffel-Sturmmann Nikolaus Martin, an SS functionary serving at Dachau, awarded on 31 March 1939, certified by the facsimile signature of Otto Meissner, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.5 cm (H0, demonstrating folding creases, a scarce document named to an SS recipient serving at one of the first concentration camps in very fine condition.
2. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronzed with enamels, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITFHUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 40.80 mm (w) x 45.56 mm (h), weighing 18.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by its original award document, named to Stadtamtmann (City Administrator) Franz Wohlzogen of Vienna, awarded on 28 April 1943, certified by the facsimile signature of Otto Meissner, measuring 21 cm (w) x 30 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
3. A Waffen-SS promotion document, named to SS-Sturmführer Hans Lober of SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatzbataillon 11, elevating Lober to the rank of SS-Obersturmführer, dated 15 May 1942 and effective the same day, certified by the facsimile signature of an unidentified SS-Sturmbannführer, measuring 21 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue throughout, in very fine condition.
