An NSDAP Political Leader belt buckle, constructed of a gilded zink alloy, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and loop retaining attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/40” for Giesse & Schmidt, Ruhla, measuring 55 mm in diameter, demonstrating near-total loss of gilt finish and a consistent patina throughout, a scarce example in very fine condition.
2. An Ordnungspolizei EM/NCO belt buckle, constructed of a crudely pebbled aluminum alloy, the obverse bearing a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), a late-war example in extremely fine condition.
3. A Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross/DRK) Enlisted ranks buckle, constructed of pebbled aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised DRK insignia in the form of a German national eagle clutching a Geneva Cross and overlaid by a mobile swastika, situated within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating significant oxidation and chipping consistent with age and storage conditions, in very fine condition; attached to its period original belt, constructed of pressed and blackened leather, one end stitched into a loop to accommodate a magnetic metal clip, the opposite end perforated with six sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, latter stamped with a size mark of “100”, measuring 4.5 cm (w) x 100 cm (l), demonstrating age-appropriate material fatigue, in very fine condition.
