Description
(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1938). Constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of “KREISSIEGER” and flanked by a date of “1938”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “G. BREHMER, MARKNEUKIRCHEN”, measuring 48.95 mm (w) x 47.08 mm (h), weighing 30.7 grams, significant chipping is visible to the enamels of the HJ insignia, in very fine condition.
