Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, All Grades

(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A mixed lot of three Honour Crosses of the German Mother, in Bronze, Silver, and Gold Grades, each constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels and with silver and gilt finish to applicable examples, all consisting of Latin Crosses with arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse of each with blue and white enameled arms, bearing central white enameled discs overlaid by black swastikas, circumscribed by raised inscriptions of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse of each bearing etched institution dates of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signatures of the Führer, all unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), demonstrating minor to moderate flecking of the enamels throughout, in overall near extremely fine condition.
