In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Tropenhose). Constructed of heavy duty cotton corduroy, the front with a white cotton lined diagonal-slit pocket per side, and the reverse with a single horizontal-slit pocket on the right side, that is equally lined with white cotton, and secured shut via a small single nonmagnetic button. Along the exterior along the waistband is a single belt loop, the other torn off, with the addition of two suspender straps on the reverse, as well as an integrated channel for the addition of the (missing) drawstring. Each pant leg has a 17 cm long vertical slit in them, with two intact bootstraps per leg. These trousers are secured shut via a series of six vertically mounted nonmagnetic buttons that are met on the opposing side by matching reinforced loopholes. The interior is unlined except for the waist, but also shows the interior lining of the three large pockets. The off-white cotton along the waist is stamped “88, 88, 101, 102, H12” as well as “Pfennig & Heppe” in black faded ink. These trousers measure approximately 42 cm across the waist, with an inseam of 63 cm, and an overall length of 96 cm. These tropical trousers are overall very well preserved, with minor signs of period appropriate wear and material fatigue from age, along with light fraying by the left belt loop and some faint staining on the interior waistband, in overall better than very fine condition
