In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Heer Tropenfeldbluse). A Heer tropical field blouse, constructed of an olive-drab cotton cloth. It features a narrow, turned-down collar reinforced on the reverse with machine-embroidered darts. Integral straps and magnetic metal buttons situated on top of the shoulders allow for the addition of straps. The cuff of each sleeve has a vertical slit which closes with two bakelite buttons for a customizable fit based on activity and field conditions. Four non-pleated pockets are set into the breasts, all closing with horizontal flaps perforated with reinforced buttonholes, in turn meeting pebbled magnetic metal buttons. It closes with six pebbled magnetic metal buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left, in standard post-May 1941 format. A single narrow pocket is set into the interior of the lower right breast, while dual cotton straps emanate from the waist and are perforated with reinforced eyelets for the addition of a belt hanger. Unmarked, the tunic measures approximately 40 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 54 cm, and an overall body length of 66 cm when folded on a flat surface. In addition to the absence of insignia the blouse demonstrates moderate soiling and material fatigue throughout the base material consistent with wartime field wear. This battlefield-experienced example remains in a very fine condition.
