(93 Knöpfe). A lot of 93 pebbled buttons, consisting of two different button designs, including 48 unissued “Extra Fein” buttons and a grouping 45 unissued buttons by Matthias Salcher & Söhne, Wagstadl.
The grouping of 48 buttons is split into two boards of 24 buttons. The buttons are constructed of a pebbled aluminum exterior bearing the numeral “8” on the obverse, with a metal core, marked “Extra Fein” on the reverse, measuring 19.2 mm in diameter and mounted on a piece of cardstock measuring 158 mm (w) x 100 mm (l), and covered with wrapping paper. The grouping of 45 buttons consists of standard pebbled buttons, possibly for visor caps, constructed of a pebbled obverse, marked “RZM M5/252” denoting manufacture by Matthias Salcher & Söhne, Wagstadl, measuring 18.0 mm. The lot of 93 buttons in overall near mint and unissued condition.
