Description
Description
(Feldbluse für einen Gefreiten der Armenischen Legion der Nachrichten Truppe). The tunic is constructed of field gray wool, featuring a turned-down collar flanked by collar tabs, each constructed of a cardstock core with a green wool exterior topper, bright yellow piping on all sides, and bearing an L-shaped silver aluminum wire tresse, measuring 33 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), indicating a rank of Gefreiter. The collar itself is reinforced on the underside with a field gray rayon herringbone pattern twill (HBT), flanked by shoulder straps, each constructed of matching field gray wool, with yellow piping, and a strip of silver aluminum tresse near the vertical edge. Each is folded and secured to either shoulder by a single loop sewn onto the tunic, and via a single magnetic field gray pebbled button, measuring 58 mm (w) x 110 mm (l). The right sleeve is adorned by a woven sleeve shield of the Armenian legion, constructed of printed cotton fabric, with scalloped sides, a pointed bottom, in the shape of a shield, bearing three horizontal bars in red, blue, and yellow, with a narrow black outer border and mounted on a field-gray wool backer, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (l). On the right breast sewn to the tunic is a volunteer legion insignia, consisting of a mobile swastika constructed of BeVo style embroidery, measuring 30 mm (w) x 113 mm (l). The breasts of this tunic features a total of four pleated pockets, all closing with scalloped flaps, and secured via a single magnetic field gray pebbled button. The two sides of the tunic are secured together using five matching magnetic pebbled buttons that are met by reinforced button-holes on the opposing flap. The interior is partially lined by a field-gray rayon herringbone twill liner (HBT), with belt straps suspended from the interior of either sleeve. It measures approximately 46 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 65 cm, and an overall body length of 79 cm. The tunic is in worn condition, with the yellow piping on the right collar damaged near the top with approximately 5 mm missing. The tresse on the shoulder straps and collar tabs exhibiting some wear from use, the tunic in overall near extremely fine condition.
