(Der Wehrwolf, Bund deutscher Männer und Frontkrieger Insignien). A rare pair of Wehrwolf insignia, including:
1. A Totenkopf cap badge, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Danziger-style Totenkopf, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 33.36 mm (w) x 29.67 mm (h), weighing 2.6 grams, demonstrating loss of finish and minor denting, in very fine condition.
2. A membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse bearing a raised Totenkopf situated above a letter “W”, unmarked, measuring 18 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), demonstrating total loss of finish and enamels in addition to the loss of a stick pin formerly soldered to the reverse, a relic example in poor condition.
