1. A Cased British Forces Germany Medal. A round medal constructed of cupal-nickel, suspended from a single-toe claw attached to the center of the award with a slotted bar, suspended from its period original mutli-colour ribbon with functional horizontal pinback assembly, the obverse depicting two military staff holding a large union jack flag, circumscribed “British Forces Germany” and “Army 1945-1989 RAF” in capital lettering, the reverse with a large laurel wreath, measuring 35.0 mm in diameter, weighing 40.74 grams, accompanied by its cardstock box of issue, with a red textured faux leather exterior, the exterior of the lid embossed “British Forces Germany Medal” in golden capital letters, the base of the box with a black foam insert for placement of the award, measuring 130 mm (w) x 45 mm, in mint condition.
2. A Cased United Kingdom Fire and Rescue Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Instituted June 1, 1954. A round medal constructed of cupal-nickel, suspended from a single-toe claw attached to the center of the award with a slotted bar, suspended from its period original multi-coloured ribbon with functional pinback (not sewn on), the obverse with a rightward facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, circumscribed “Elizabeth II Dei Gratia Regina F.D.” in capital lettering, the reverse with two firefighting figures holding a fire hose and circumscribed with “For Exemplary Fire Service” in capital lettering, the edge inscribed “Firefighter Steven R. King” in capital lettering, measuring 36.3 mm in diameter, weighing 35.97 grams.
