In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A very well-preserved Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) Officer’s dress cap, constructed of black wool. It features reinforced side walls fully lined on the exterior with a dark cherry-red cap band. Lengths of dark cherry-red piping trims the top edge of the band and the outer edge of the crown. Pinned onto the centre of the cap band is an RAMC badge featuring a king's crown, executed in gilded and silvered bronze, measuring 30 mm (w) x 45 mm (h). The band is flanked by gilded bronze RAMC-issue buttons which accommodate a two-piece blackened leather chinstrap. A protruding vulcanfibre visor completes the exterior features, and it topped by a wide gold bullion wire tresse. The interior is fully encompassed by a multi-piece brown rayon liner, while a brown leather sweatband surrounds the side walls. Unmarked, the cap measures approximately 23 cm (w) x 27.5 cm (l) x 13.5 cm (h). Moderate soiling is visible to the interior liner, and the stitching holding the visor in place has partially detached. The cap remains in an overall near extremely fine condition.
