Three dinner forks, each with four tines and delicate necks, the reverse of the handle is engraved with a crowned N monogram, stamped at the base of the tines on the obverse with a female head denoting Former Austro-Hungarian (Vienna) manufacture between 1872 to 1922 and an 800/1000 silver fineness, and additional mark on the right side, each fork measures 22mm (w) x 179mm (l), weighs approximately 46.5 grams, tarnishing present, ranging from very fine to extremely fine condition.
Four dinner knives, each blade maker marked J.A HENCKELS SOLINGEN SZEILLINGSWERK, the handle is engraved with a crowned N monogram, the handle below the bolster has been stamped with a female head denoting Former Austro-Hungarian (Vienna) manufacture between 1872 to 1922 and an 800/1000 silver fineness, and additional mark on the reverse side, each knife measures 22mm (w – across the butt) x 210mm (l), weighs approximately 52.5 grams, light tarnishing and blemishes on silver, ranging from very fine to extremely fine condition.
Footnote: King Nicholas was the ruler of Montenegro from 1860-1918 (as a prince from 1860-1910, and the first and only king of the country from 1910-1918).
