Instituted in 1980. In bronze gilt with red and white enamels, inscribed "PRL" in the centre, silvered centrepiece ring inscribed "ZASLUZONY DLA KULTURY POLSKIEJ" (For Meritorious Service to Polish Culture), measuring 32.3 mm x 37.7 mm (h), suspended from a 10.5 mm (w) x 37 mm (h) hanger in silvered bronze with orangey-red and white enamels and bearing the Polish eagle, the hanger with a vertical pinback, intact nemals, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, reddish-brown leatherette exterior, recessed medal bed, contact marks evident on the exterior, case better than very fine.
