Instituted April 18, 1932 by King Carol II. A Set, consisting of the Sash Badge, in silver gilt, featuring a blue enamelled cross with wreath segments in each quadrant, the centerpiece of the coat of arms, the reverse centerpiece featuring the inscription SERVICIU CREDICIOUS, surmounted by a large crown, marked 20 HW 36 on the suspension ring denoting manufacture by Heinrich Weiss, measures 56.5 mm (w) x 80.3 mm (h - inclusive of crown suspension), enamels intact, light gilt wear, worn on an original sash, in near extremely fine condition.
The Star of the Set, in silver gilt, a four point star with clusters of smooth rays, the central superimposed insignia features a blue enamelled cross with wreath segments in each quadrant, the centerpiece of the coat of arms with a crown on the 12 o’clock arm, the reverse demonstrating a vertical pin suspension, cartouche denoting maker HEINRICH WEISS BUCHAREST, pin marked on the underneath 308 HW 37 and crown denoting Muntenia manfucation, measures 84.7mm (w) x 85.2 mm (h), enamels intact, light gilt wear on rays, remains in extremely fine condition.
