In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Orden Karađorđeve zvezde). Instituted in 1904. In silver and enamels, a silver eight-point star with clusters of seven smooth rays, the obverse featuring a silver cross with multiple rays in each quadrant, crossed swords pierce the center medallion, the obverse centerpiece bearing an eagle on a red enameled field, vertical pin back, measuring 82 mm, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Order of the Star of Karageorge was established on 1 January 1904 by King Peter I. It was awarded to Serbian nationals for exceptional merit rendered to the King, State and Nation, for civilian or military service. In 1906 foreign nationals were also declared eligible. On 20 October 1912, King Peter established a variant of the order ‘with swords’, coinciding with the declaration of war on Ottoman Turkey by the alliance of Serbia, Montenegro, Greece and Bulgaria, to be awarded for acts of bravery and distinguished military service in wartime.
