(Orden Karađorđeve zvezde). Instituted January 1, 1904. Military Division. In silver gilt, a white enamel cross with smooth rays and crossed swords in each quadrant, the obverse medallion with a central blue enamelled medallion bearing a white enamelled Serbian Cross, surrounded by a broad white enamelled ring inscribed by за вба8 и слобод8 1804 in script, the reverse with a central circular red enameled medallion bearing a Serbian double-headed eagle, surrounded by a broad blue enameled ring inscribed петар 1 1904, suspended from a hollow swivel crown decorated with red, green, and white enamels and worn from an original red trifold ribbon, measures 36.86mm (w) x 58.0mm (h - inclusive of cross adorned crown suspension), weighs 27.1 grams, enamel chips in inscription rings, light gilt wear, remains in near very fine condition.
Accompanied by an award booklet in red bound exterior featuring the insignia on the obverse, the interior presenting a black and white photo of the recipient and Serbian text denoting the recipient Zivan G. Mitrovic and the decoration number 630. In very fine condition.

General Mitrović was active after the Great War, among others: from 15.9. 1921, commander of the Osijek Divisional area; from 23.12. 1924, assistant commander of the 5th Army Region; from 4.3. 1925, on the Staff of the 1st Army Region. General Mitrović retired in 1931.
