A studio photograph of King Milan Obrenović I of Serbia fastened to a cardstock backer, in military uniform showing multilple awards, sitting in a chair, labeled “Knez Milan Obrenović, the backer is marked at the bottom “A.N.Stojanowits Belgrad” and “Cabinet Karte” in red ink, measuring 111 mm (w) x 157 mm (l), in better than very fine condition.
Footnote: Milan Obrenović was born on August 22nd, 1854 and died February 11th, 1904. He served as the Prince of Serbia from June 10th 1868 - March 6th 1882 and as the King of Serbia from March 6th 1882 - March 6th, 1889.
