(A La Lealtad Acrisolada Por Isabel la Católica). Instituted 14th of March 1815.A fine quality star in silver gilt featuring a cross in red enamel, each of the arms finished with two ball finials, centrepiece with two brown pillars surrounded by a laurel wreath and the inscription “A La Lealtad Acrisolada Por Isabel la Católica”, reverse with central pin assembly and two stay, measuring 71.9 mm (h) x 71.0 mm (w), with minor enamel wear from use, remains extremely fine condition.

Footnote: The Order was established in 1815 as a Spanish civil order in which membership is granted in recognition of services that benefit the country. There are known several variations that may include sizes, composition materials, details, and the design of the insignia.
