A fine and extensive imperial Spanish medal bar, consisting of:
1. An Order of Military Merit. (Orden del Mérito Militar). Instituted August 3rd, 1864. Red Model (War Time). I. Class, Type IV - 1875-1931. Constructed of gilded bronze and multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Greek cross with red enameled arms and a central round medallion bearing the Coat of Arms of Castile, Leóne, Aragon, Navarre, and Granada, constructed of red and white enameled quadrants, with the white quadrants bearing gilded rampant lions and the red quadrants with gilded towers, along with an oval central blue enameled medallion bearing a gilded rose, the reverse with equally white enameled arms with a central round and red enameled medallion bearing a Cypher of MM (Merito Militar), on a hollow swivel gilded bronze crown for suspension from its period original ribbon with three horizontal bars attached, unmarked, measuring 39.8 mm (w) x 58.2 mm (l).
2. A Military Medal for Morocco. (Medalla militar de Marruecos). Instituted June 29th, 1916. An oval silver medal, suspended from a swivel crown and its period original ribbon with dual campaign clasps “Tetuan” and “Melilla”, unmarked, measuring 28.4 mm (w) x 51.9 mm (l).
3. A Moroccan Peace Medal. (Medalla de la Paz de Marruecos). Instituted November 21st, 1927. An oval silver medal, suspended from an affixed eagle and crown and its period original ribbon, measuring 32.3 mm (w) x 57.7 mm (l).
4. An Order of San Hermenegildo, Knight Badge with Imperial Crown, (Real y Militar Orden de San Hermenegildo). Instituted November 28th, 1814. Constructed of gilded bronze and multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Greek cross with white enameled arms and a central round medallion featuring a superimposed figure of Saint Hermenegildo on a light-blue enameled field, surrounded by a dark blue enameled ring of enamels with the inscription “Premio a la Constancia Militar” (Award for Military Constancy) in bronze gilt, the reverse with equally white enameled arms with a central round gilded medallion inscribed “F VII” surrounded by a ring of dark blue enamels, suspended from a hollow swivel Imperial crown using its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 37.3 mm (w) x 55.6 mm (l).
5. An Order of Military Merit. (Orden del Mérito Militar). Instituted August 3rd, 1864. White Model (Peace Time). I. Class, Type IV - 1875-1931. Constructed of gilded bronze and multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Greek cross with white enameled arms and a central round medallion bearing the Coat of Arms of Castile, Leóne, Aragon, Navarre, and Granada, constructed of red and white enameled quadrants, with the white quadrants bearing gilded rampant lions and the red quadrants with gilded towers, along with an oval central blue enameled medallion bearing a gilded rose, the reverse with equally white enameled arms with a central round and red enameled medallion bearing a Cypher of MM (Merito Militar), on a hollow swivel gilded bronze crown for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 37.2 mm (w) x 37.2 mm (l).
6. An Alfonso XIII Medal. (Medalla de Proclamación de Alfonso XIII). Instituted July 19th, 1902. Type I. A circular silver medal, on a swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 30.2 mm.
7. A Medal for the Siege of Saragossa. (Medalla Conmemorativa por el Sitio de Zaragoza). Instituted 1908. A circular silver medal, on a pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 30.0 mm in diameter.
8. A Tribute Medal. (Medalla del Homenaje). Instituted May 17th, 1925. Constructed of bronze, on a swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 32.6 mm (w) x 54.2 mm (l).
All medals, awards, and decorations are suspended from their Spanish-style medal bar consisting of dual-bronze bars with a horizontal pinback, measuring 156 mm long, with verdigris on some of the awards, in overall better than fine condition.
