A mixed lot of orders, including:

1. An Order of the Red Star, Type II, constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five-pointed star, the obverse with red enameled arms, bearing a central medallion overlaid by a Red Army soldier in full uniform and clutching a rifle, surrounded by a border bearing a raised Russian Cyrillic inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), joined together at the bottom by initials “СССР” (“USSR”), situated above a hammer and sickle the reverse with a central threaded lug retaining an original backplate, etched with an issue number that appears to read “2789300”, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 48.08 mm (w) x 45.50 mm (h), weighing 41.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.

2. A second Order of the Red Star, Type II, constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five-pointed star, the obverse with red enameled arms, bearing a central medallion overlaid by a Red Army soldier in full uniform and clutching a rifle, surrounded by a border bearing a raised Russian Cyrillic inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), joined together at the bottom by initials “СССР” (“USSR”), situated above a hammer and sickle the reverse with a central threaded lug retaining an original backplate, etched with an issue number that appears to read “3615518”, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 48.60 mm (w) x 46.58 mm (h), weighing 41.7 grams, demonstrating minor scratching to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.

3. An Order of the Red Banner, Type III, Variation II, constructed of a silver with gilt and enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of gilded circular wreath, joined together at the bottom by a red enameled banner bearing silvered Russian Cyrcillic letters “СССР”, surrounding a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a bayonet, hammer, and plow, in turn bearing a red enameled star defaced by a silvered hammer and sickle on a field of white enamels, with a banner flag fitted through the star featuring a red enameled field overlaid by a silvered inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), the reverse stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, engraved with an issue number of “258062”, measuring 37.16 mm (w) x 44.88 mm (h), weighing 35.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), demonstrating minor flecking to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.

4. An Order of the Red Banner, Type IV, constructed of a silver with gilt and enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of gilded circular wreath, joined together at the bottom by a red enameled banner bearing silvered Russian Cyrcillic letters “СССР”, surrounding a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a bayonet, hammer, and plow, in turn bearing a red enameled star defaced by a silvered hammer and sickle on a field of white enamels, with a banner flag fitted through the star featuring a red enameled field overlaid by a silvered inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), the reverse stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, engraved with an issue number of “384276”, measuring 37.42 mm (w) x 45.57 mm (h), weighing 39.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), demonstrating minor flecking to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.

5. An Order of the October Revolution, constructed of gilded silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a five-pointed red enameled star, with stylized rays emanating between the arms, bearing a central pentagonal medallion overlaid by a raised depiction of the cruiser Aurora, topped by a red enameled banner bearing a gilt inscription of “ОКТЯБРЬСКАЯ РЕВОЛЮЦИЯ” (“OCTOBER REVOLUTION”), and situated above a sickle and hammer, the reverse engraved with five visible rivets securing the obverse applique in position, engraved with an award number of “101000”, and stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 43.52 mm (w)  44.28 mm (h), weighing 39.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), in extremely fine condition.

6. An Order of Labour Glory, III Class, constructed of silver with gilt and enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a central cogwheel with rays emanating from the edges, overlaid by a raised inscription of “ТРУДОВАЯ СЛАВА” (“LABOUR GLORY”), surrounding a central raised factory defaced by a sickle and hammer, topped by a five-pointed red enameled star and situated above a wheat stalk wreath overlaid by a red enameled banner bearing an inscription of “СССР” (“USSR”), the reverse engraved with an award number of “437201”, and stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 40.78 mm (w) x 47.40 mm (h), weighing 42.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), in extremely fine condition.

7. An Order of Friendship of the Peoples, constructed of silver with gilt and enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a ten-pointed pebbled and radiant starburst, overlaid by a red enameled five-pointed star, in turn bearing a white enameled medallion overlaid by a raised sickle and hammer, circumscribed by a green enameled laurel wreath and inscription of “ДРУЖБА НАРОДОВ” (“FRIENDSHIP OF THE PEOPLES”), surrounded by a wreath in the form of joined hands with the bottom overlaid by a red enameled banner, the reverse six visible rivets securing the obverse applique in position, engraved with an award number of “0297”, stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 46.60 mm (w) x 51.37 mm (h), weighing 49.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), in extremely fine condition.

8. An award booklet, constructed of a card stock binding with a faux maroon leather liner, the interior with 15 paginated pages lightly filled with handwritten entries, named to “ЛЕВ НИКОЛАЕВИЧ КУЗНЕЦОВ” (“LEV NIKOLAEVICH KUZNETSOV”), featuring a single entry for an Order of the October Revolution, issued as award #97700 on 13 August 1986, measuring 8 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
