The left sleeve has two insignia sewn in place: the shoulder with a 70 mm (w) x 99 mm (h) badge bearing the Motor Rifle Commissariat insignia in red embroidery and a yellow rubberization, centred by a gilt aluminum star, inscribed with the dates "1989" and "1991" above and "Ленинград" (Leningrad) below, on a black wool base, the outer frame trimmed in a white cord; the area just above the cuff with a 70 mm (w) x 72 mm (h) officer candidate service stripes badge, the rank insignia in gold-coloured bullion wire and trimmed in red embroidery, with a gilt aluminum star below, on a black wool base, the outer frame trimmed in a white cord. There is a top-entry pocket on the left side, with a brown plastic button and button down tab closure, stamped in a code in yellow ink on the lining covering the pocket, along with being stamped in black ink "449" above a rectangular box inscribed "11-89" on the lining below. In addition, the cotton lined waist pocket on the left side is manufacturer stamped in black ink, complete with washing and care instructions indicated. The tunic measures 500 mm across the shoulders x 745 mm in length, is free of mothing, exhibiting light soiling and wear overall, the cord on the outer frame of the Leningrad badge coming away from its body;
