A small chain in bronze gilt, demonstrating 13 links of alternating white enamelled discs with crown and red enamelled “FJ” discs, each linked by to oval bronze rings, connected to a pin with bulbous handle on one end and round clip with an Austrian style star, the chain measures 210 mm, and contains four decorations:
A Military Merit Cross in red and white enamels with segments of wreath between each arm, the central medallion states VER DIENST, the reverse is plain white enamels, with crossed swords on the top of the 12 o’clock arm, measures 17.0 mm (w) x 19.5 mm (h), enamels intact, in very fine condition.
An order of Franz Joseph, a red enamelled cross with a black enamelled eagle within the rams, the center medallion bears FJ with chains on the obverse arms, the reverse medallion in white enamelled disc with the years 1849, surmounted by the crown, measures 14.2 mm (w) x 28.4 mm (h), light wear, minor enamel loss, remains in very fine condition.
An 1849 Merit Cross, in red enamels with a white enamelled center marked FJ and the dat 1849 on the reverse center, surmounted by a large crown, measures 15.8 mm (w) x 25.6 mm (h), enamels intact, in extremely fine condition.
An Honour Decoration of the REd Cross, in red and white enamels with green enamelled wreath segments across the obverse arms, the central medallion features a red enamelled cross on a white disc, the reverse center medallion bears the dates 1864 1914, measures 16.8 mm (w) x 23.0 mm (h), enamel chips to reverse, in very fine condition.
