Fullsize: three-piece construction, in bronze gilt with light blue and black enamels, number stamped “CYB” and "01958" on the reverse, measuring 38.8 mm (w) x 39 mm (h), screwback, contact marks and gilt wear; and Miniature: in bronze gilt with light blue and black enamels, number stamped “CYB” and "01958" on the reverse, measuring 21 mm (w) x 21 mm (h), screwback, very nice enamelling. Together, very fine.
Footnote: The Ukrainian Combatant's Cross was established in 1940 in Krakow, Poland, for the veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The cross was issued in two varieties: the pre-war first issue on a pin, the post-war second issue with a screwback, as per this example.
