A Miniature Order of the Lion and Sun, Type I, in silver, gilt and enamels, presenting a six armed star with faceted rays and a single green ray between each arm, the medallion presents a standing lion holding a sword, suspended from an silver sunburst with seven rays, the reverse is plain, measures 11.3mm (w) x 20.2mm (h), worn on a replacement green ribbon, enamels intact, remains in very fine condition.
A Miniature 25th Anniversary Medal, 1971, in bronze, featuring the bust of Cyrus the Great, and the reverse with Persian and French script, measures 17.2mm (w) x 20.0mm (h – inclusive of integral ball), worn on original two-toned blue ribbon, oxidation to rim, light wear, remains in near very fine condition.
