Iran, Pahlavi Dynasty. A Medal For The Fiftieth Anniversary Of The Pahlavi Dynasty 1976

(1976 مدال پنجاهمین سالگرد سلطنت پهلوی). Instituted in 1976. Two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with ultramarine blue and white enamels, unmarked, illustrating the conjoined busts of Reza Shah and the Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, a mountain in the distance backed by a sunrise with emanating rays, framed by an open-ended wreath composed of two branches of laurel leaves, with the date from the Persian/Iranian calendar "1355" (March 21, 1976 - March 20, 1977) below, measuring 36.7 mm (w) x 50.5 mm (h), intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, original ribbon, very fine.

Burkina Faso. In silvered bronze, hallmarked AB&Co on edge and marked "BRONZE" on the edge, 36.6 mm, original ribbon, extremely fine.
