Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of badges, including:

1. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting  around write catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Rudolf Karneth & Söhne, Gablonz, measuring 41.89 mm (w) x 53.50 mm (h), weighing 25.7 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish to the base metal, in very fine condition.

2. A 13. Reichsfrontsoldatentag (13th Reich Frontline Soldiers Day) badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), the original pinback has been lost and replaced with a modern safety pin, in very fine condition.

3. A 1936 Gau Süd Hannover-Braunschweig Gautag Hildesheim commemorative badge, constructed of silvered magnetic metal, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 44 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
