(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:
1. A Heer EM/NCO’s visor cap wreath and cockade, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish to the cockade, in very fine condition.
2. A Reichspost visor cap wreath and cockade, constructed of silvered zink and aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 33 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), demonstrating loss of silver finish throughout the zink base, in very fine condition.
3. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) cap insignia, constructed of magnetic metal, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, marked with a Reichsleitungs des Reichsarbeitsdienstes (RLAD) logo, measuring 45 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in very fine condition.
4. A Sturmabteilung (SA) cap edelweiss, constructed of aluminum, unmarked, measuring 25 mm (w) x 52 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
5. A Reich Labour Service of Female Youth (RADwJ) Stabsführerin rank badge, constructed of bronzed feinzink, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 45 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
6. A ribbon bar for a First World War combatant featuring three awards, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, and a Wehrmacht Long Service Award, affixed to a 45 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback, a typical Third Reich-period bar in very fine condition.
7. A small medallion, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised profile of Ferdinand von Zeppelin, flanked by name, circumscribed by an inscription of “ZIEL ERKANNT - KRAFT GESPANNT!” (“DESTINATION KNOWN - POWER INTENSE!”), the reverse bearing a raised depiction of an airship flying against a Mainz skyline, circumscribed by an inscription indicating that the medallion was issued to commemorate the 1908 flight of LZ. 4, measuring 33 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
