1939-1945 Star (JOSEPH POLAKOWSKI 23398); France and Germany Star (JOSEPH POLAKOWSKI 23398); Defence Medal (JOSEPH POLAKOWSKI 23398); Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp (JOSEPH POLAKOWSKI 23398); and War Medal 1939-1945 (JOSEPH POLAKOWSKI 23398). Naming is privately engraved on the reverse of the two Stars and on the edge of the three silver medals, inverted. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, minor green oxidation spot evident on the France and Germany Star, very light contact overall, original ribbons, near extremely fine. Accompanied by an RCAF Cap Badge (in brass, measuring 39.3 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), intact lugs and pin); his RCAF Wrist Bracelet (silver with red and blue enamelled RCAF insignia, mounted to a brass base, measuring 36 mm (w) x 22.5 mm (h), with wrist chain); his Identity Card (numbered "1189344", entries in black ink, black and white photograph with embossed stamps, measuring 76 mm (w) x 127 mm (h));, along with five Vintage Photographs (black and white, illustrating Polakowski in uniform and/or his flight suit, in various sizes).
