In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
This fine quality peaked cap is the reinforced "stiff" top issue, the body of the cap fabricated from a grayish-blue wool-cotton blend, the classic high peak, wide black band around its circumference, which was designed to support the RCAF insignia at the front as evidenced by the two strands of black threading, however, the insignia has come away from the cap but is included. The cap badge insignia has a King's crown in rolled silvered and gold-coloured bullion wire, the void of the crown in maroon felt, with touches of red and green embroidery in the crown's base, the RCAF eagle in brass between the crown and the leafing, the latter in rolled and twisted gold-coloured bullion wire, all on a black wool base and padded, with a black fabric backer. The stiff visor in black vulcan fibre and incorporating two facing branches of oak leaves in rolled and beaded gold-coloured bullion wire, along with a black patent leather strap with two length adjusters running across the front between the black posts on both sides, the underside in green. Each side of the cap has two black-finished grommets in place, to aid in ventilation, the interior with a simulated leather sweatband and incorporating brown suede patches on either side, the ends of the sweatband joined together at the back and are bow-tied in place with a white ribbon, the dome is concealed under an intact green-tinted moisture shield with a "Stokes Cap and Regalia Ltd Toronto Ontario" manufacturer's label visible through the shield, measuring 240 mm x 250 mm x 120 mm in height. In addition to the cap insignia having come away from the cap, it exhibits greening on its bullion wire, along with black threading where it has broken away from the cap. There is a small hole on the peak of the cap that exposes the green interior underside of the cap construction, otherwise, the cap is free of interruptions in the fabric, with only some crazing on the visor. As worn.
