Australians in Service; 2. Their Longarms - Pre Federation; 3. Their Longarms - Post Federation; 4. Plates and Technical Data; 5. Small Arms Factory, Lithgow; 6. Issue, Manufacture & Other Markings. As described on the dust jacket: "From the flintlock smoothbore to automatic smallbore, this work details Australian military arms and their usage from the dawn of our colonial history to the present day. Special attention is paid to Australian manufactured arms, and a considerable portion of the book is devoted to the history and production of the Small Arms Factory at Lithgow, New South Wales."
