Accompanied by its 10.3 mm x 36 mm Ribbon Bar with pinback and its 3.5 mm x 17 mm enameled Ribbon Bar with button hole attachment, in its hardshelled case of issue, marked "PURPLE HEART" on the lid, slightly soiled askew lid, scuffed bottom, case fine. Accompanied by his Purple Heart Award Document (inscribed "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / TO ALL WHO SHALL SEE THESE PRESENTS, GREETING: / THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS AWARDED THE PURPLE HEART ESTABLISHED BY GENERAL GEORGE WASHINGTON AT NEWBURGH, NEW YORK, AUGUST 7, 1782 TO PRIVATE FIRST CLASS ROBERT B. Kehoe, Company D, 19th Engineer Battalion, 45th Engineer Group received a Purple Heart for wounds received in the Republic of Vietnam, along with twenty other soldiers in his battalion, on April 22, 1969. Each of the recipients were issued their Purple Hearts on May 21, 1969.
