(Orden der Eisernen Krone Ordenszeichen III Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration). Re-Instituted in 1815 by Emperor Franz I. (Issued 1816-1918). Of multi-piece construction in bronze gilt, with red, green, white, blue and black enamels, consisting of a double headed eagle with crossed swords above their heads, with a shield on the chest of the eagle, consisting of blue enamels and the letter “F”, with a crown in its talons and multi-coloured enamels and two green enaemeled laurel stems denoting a war decoration, the reverse of the eagle with a second shield, dated “1815” within a bed of blue enamels, suspended from a partially suspended crown and a loop for suspension, market “A.E. Köchert, Wien” on the ribbon between the eagle’s heads and the crown, measuring 29.62 mm (w) x 57.02 mm (h), weighing 18.0 grams, in overall very fine condition.
